
Moving the section plane towards your BIM model will allow you to hide parts of your model. You can rotate and move the section plane with the help of the arrows that are displayed. Once you have selected the section plane you wish to use, you will see the section plane represented on your BIM model as it appears below in the photo. Once you have the section plane tool enabled, you must click on one of section planes in the bottom right corner to start using it. The section plane tool allows you to hide sections of your BIM model, so that you can see inside or past certain sections. This will delete all measurements that you have created while in the tool. To remove measurements you have made, you must exit the measurement tool. This will make sure that you do not create any unwanted measurements. To look around while measuring, hold the left mouse button down and then move your mouse. You can then repeat to create multiple measurements. Once you activate the measurement tool, click on your desired spot once to activate the tool, move your mouse to the endpoint of the element you want to measure and then click again. Using the measurement tool, you can measure anything within your BIM model, i.e. Selecting walking mode will allow you to look around in first person view.Ĭontrols the speed at which you move when navigating the model. If this option is turned off, you will only see tickets that are not occluded by objects. In the top left, you can click on Options which will show you the following features:Įnabling this option will show all pins within your model regardless if they are occluded or not. This allows you to look around the BIM model in first person view. You can change the camera to a point of view camera by enabling ‘Walking Mode’. The center point is always at the centre of your model. The orbit camera operates by orbiting around the centre point. The default camera view when you open your BIM model will be an orbit camera. Clicking on any floor will automatically move you to the centre of that floor where you can continue navigating using one of the other methods. To quickly move between floors in your BIM model, you can also click on the floor plan tab found to the right of the screen.



To look around your BIM model, click and hold your left mouse button on the screen and move your mouse to move the camera. Using the scroll wheel on your mouse will also move you forwards and backwards Once you have access to your model, there are various ways to move around.
